Hamsa Nandini is an Indian model, dancer, and actress. She has modeled for MaaStars magazine and Celebrity Cricket League.^{[citation needed]}

Hamsa Nandini was born and brought up in Pune and moved to Mumbai to become a model.^[2] She graduated in commerce and enrolled in a PG in human resources in 2009.^[2] Her birth name is Poonam, under she which she appeared in her first few films, but since there were too many people named Poonam in the film industry, director Vamsy rechristened her Hamsa Nandini.^[2]

From 2012 onwards, Hamsa Nandini has been regularly making special appearances in Telugu films. In 2013, all her four releases,Mirchi,^[3] Bhai,^[4] Atharintiki Daaredi and Ramayya Vasthavayya featured her in item numbers.^[5] She stated that she was happy "doing a five-minute dance number" as it gives her "phenomenal reach" and "a good platform to reach out to the masses".^[6] Most recently she performed a special number in Legend.^[7] Hamsa Nandini was selected by Gunasekhar to play the warrior princess Madanika in his forthcoming period drama Rudhramadevi after nearly 100 girls had been auditioned for the role.^[8]
